Fast Time Qualifyer and Heat Race Winner Rick Taylor

We thought we only had two hams (Daryl and Dale) but obviously there are more. All kidding aside, Rick took fast time with a 14.17 AND then went onto win the heat race.

5. 6w Steven Taylor - 15.216

6. 42 Jay Elliot - 15.365

Rick then handily went on to win the Heat race as well. Perhaps thats why he looks like a happy racer.

However when it came to the main event Cameron got the jump and took 1st. Congratulations Cameron!

Daryl was second.

Dale was third.

Unfortunately, the guys decided to go 4 deep on a corner resulting in Rick Taylor and Jay Elliot getting into a wreck. We hope they are healing up and not having too much trouble getting their cars ready for the next one.

Up Next - It's Evergreen Speedway State Fair 1st Weekend

Next up on the schedule, the Dwarfs head to Evergreen Speedway for one of the big races of the year. Come out on Saturday and Sunday (8/26 - 8/27) and take in the fair before heading to the races.

Evergreen Speedway is in Monroe, WA. We race on the inner 3/8-mile asphalt oval. This is the first weekend of the Evergreen State Fair that will have 8-10k in the crowd. Monster Trucks are there as well and when combined with the fair midway, this is a great family event!
