Here are your race results for the AMCA Dwarf Cars Presented by Central Welding Supply and RaceCals.
On a near perfect day of sunny and 75 degrees, 19 dwarf cars showed up at Skagit Speedway to do battle on the high banks of Skagit Speedway. It was not disappointing to racers and fans alike.
Only 4 of the 19 drivers had ever been on the Skagit clay previously when three groups of dwarfs went out on the track for hot laps. Unfortunately, one of the four who had been to Skagit Speedway previously, Corey Estabon, blew his motor in hot laps. First timer Teagen Fischer lost her motor during group qualifying as well.
Fast Time Qualifyer - Anthony Pope
Fast time in qualifying went to Anthony Pope who edged AMCA's own Tylor Howard by about 6/100s of a second.

Track conditions changed between qualifying and the heat races, as it started to dry out some. This made things tricky as most had not been there before and AMCA had not had a points race on the dirt since 2017 due to Covid and rain outs. With inverted heat races and all of the fast qualifiers starting in the back of the field, the races were extremely competitive.
Heat 1 Winner - Tommy Velasquez III
Tommy in the 14e earned the win in the first heat over 2nd quick time Howard.

Feature Winner - Tommy Velasquez III
The main event line up had a great field of 17 cars expecting to start the race after the two blown engines earlier. The top nine cars in points earned during qualifying and heat races, including passing points, were inverted for the start. Unfortunately the 13w and the 6r were last second scratches and 15 cars started the race.
Congratulations Tommy on the win!
